August 2024: Appendix Cancer

Appendix cancer is a rare type of cancer that originates with a tumor in the appendix. It is comparatively rarer than other types of cancer yet simultaneously treatable and incurable. Appendix cancer entails many common symptoms as other abdomen diseases causing it to be often misdiagnosed—especially as appendicitis or ovarian cancer.

Sadly, by the time appendix cancer is discovered in patients, it is too late. While effective treatment methods like CRS and HIPEC have been developed in recent years, appendix cancer continues to steal lives that could have otherwise been saved.

We donate to cancer victims and hope to encourage further research for a possible cure and superior treatment. Donate now for a greater cause, and support us in our new mission this year.

After all, August is Appendix Cancer Awareness Month. Donations will go to the Seattle Children's Hospital.
